From Rich Jaffe, President Broadway in Boston
“Last Fall, we hosted the first-ever sensory-friendly performance of a Broadway show in Boston with Disney’s The Lion King. This was a day those of us in attendance will never forget. It was so meaningful to provide a judgement free theater experience for those in our community that have a child with Autism. As a result of this experience, we have partnered once again with Autism Speaks and will be offering a sensory-friendly performance of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Sunday, October 4 at 5:30pm.
With the prevalence of autism growing to 1 in 68 children, it is more than likely that we all know someone that has a child or grandchild impacted by Autism. Please help us spread the word about this special performance. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.autismspeaks.org/cinderella.”
